(1) Full shade

rubber compound : 100g
Masterbatch : 1g
Add 1g master batch to 100g Rubber compound and mix it on 2roller
mill, adjusting roll clearance to 0.5 mm and 5 minutes at roll surface temperature of 45¡¾5¡É.

(2) Tinting shade

rubber compound : 100g
TiO2 : 1g
Masterbatch : 1g
Add 1g master batch to 100g Rubber compound and mix it on 2 roller mill, adjusting roll clearance to 0.5 mm and 5 minutes at roll surface temperature of 45¡¾5¡É.

(3) Light Fastness
Expose in FADE-O-METER and check the degree of color fading after 100 hours
E : Excellent        G : Good        N : Normal

(4) Heat Resistance of Base Pigment

270 ~ 300¡É : E(Excellent)
250¡É above : VG(Very Good)
200¡É above : G (Good)
150¡É above : N (Normal)

(5) Migration
Prepare and vulcanize base compound with 2§® thickness. Sandwich test sheet with base, on both sides of which a glass plate are put respectively, heat it up in an over at 100¡É for 2 hours with 100g/§² loading. Strip off base compound sheets to check migration onto its surface.
E : Excellent        G : Good        N : Normal

(6) Solvent resistance of base pigment
Solvent tested in this issue are diethylene glycol, ethyl alcohol, mineral
spirit, methylethylketone, ethyl acetate, butyl alcohol and xylene. Dip 2g pigment in 20§¢ solvent for 30 minutes, then change of color and coloration of solution are observed.
E : Excellent        G : Good        N : Normal

(7) Acid and alkali resistance
Dip test sheet partly in test solution and boil at 100¡É in 1000cc of 2% sulphuric acid solution or 2% caustic soda
solution for 30 minutes and observe color change of test. Sheet and coloration of solution.
E : Excellent        G : Good        N : Normal
